The team you’ll be part of
As Nokia’s growth engine, we create value for communication service providers and enterprise customers by leading the transition to cloud-native software and as-a-service delivery models. Our inclusive team of dreamers, doers and disruptors push the limits from impossible to possible.
From 1998 started with a few dozen employees and over the years Budapesr RnD grew to provide jobs for over 2000 people. 1200 engineers work in research and development and on the Budapest site products are being developed which are irreplaceable for the development and operation of latest telecommunication networks like 5G. Our main clients are telecommunication providers and multinational corporations which conduct their business in different market segments.
What you will learn and contribute to
Plan the software evolution through software designs and architectural studies
Define software evolutions and guide others towards those
Create architecture studies and describe proposals for new products or existing software product improvements
Drive product high level design so that developer teams can work efficiently on the implementation of those
Support development teams with technical know-how on need based.
Participate on technical gatherings, and support planning and decisions also on broader level (outside of the product border) supporting our product managers
Your skills and experience
The more skills you have the better, the rest you’ll enjoy learning with us:
Software development and integration background (Python, Golang, Java)
Experience in software design and architecture, understanding of main architecture patters
Some level of technical leadership experience is advantage
Detailed understanding and possibly hands-on experience in cloud and container technologies (OpenStack, VMware, K8S, Docker, HELM)
Good understanding of IP networking
