YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Developing optomechanical components and assemblies for the high-tech industry from the concept phase to the start of production
Collecting the necessary project and module specific requirements
Developing technical solutions on the verge of feasibility, to which you take mechanical, thermal and dynamic boundary conditions in to account in addition to the manufacturability aspect
The initial design of the managed systems and components with regard to the above requirements are your area of responsibility
You align on technical and other interface related topics with the neighboring departments as well as with the suppliers
You are responsible for preparing either 3D models and 2D production documentation
You independently represent the results in the customer’s development team
YOUR PROFILE:
You have a completed degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, physics, or equivalent technical degree, and you have appropriate experience
You already have initial experience with the design tools (knowledge of using Creo is an advantage)
You have good technical knowledge, and you are enthusiastic about technical challenges
You have strong communication skills; you are persistent and able to work in a team and on your own
You are confident and have a good knowledge of German and / or English
