Development Engineer

Objectives
We are looking for an experienced mechanical engineer who will be responsible for the structural development of our refrigerator product range produced by our factory in Nyíregyháza. You will work in the R&D Architecture Team that are responsible to develop structural modules of the refrigerator. You will be responsible to facilitate the validation of a full range of products, for what concerns the structural modules and with focus on industrialization and production start. Will be assigned defined tasks in terms of timing and quality targets and report periodically to Technical Leaders and Project Managers about the target fulfilments.
Your main tasks:
• Support Production part approval process (PPAP) preparation, ensuring that all needed samples are provided timely to the testers as per the plans
• Attend production of finished goods, subassemblies and components to verify compliance with technical specifications
• Support testers, supervising that the agreed parameters are measured and reported
• Contribute to continuous improvement of PPAP procedure and technical specification editing
• Connect in both ways the expectations from Management with the execution of sampling and tests.
Qualifications:
• Mechanical engineering degree, with minimum 2 years experience
• Strong knowledge in mechanical component and system development and design, 2D and 3D design tool (CATIA is preferred)
• Structured engineering approach
• Knowledge of the main manufacturing processes (metal forming, injection moulding, thermoforming) and assembling (with particular focus on gluing and automation)
• Soft skills: inventive, proactive, communicative, willing to grow, available to travel (Italy)
• Hungarian and English knowledge
