We are looking for a new colleague for our Hungarian manufacturing plant at Szentlőrinckáta for the following position: Inventory & Fixed Asset Expert
We are looking for you, if:

What tasks will you meet during your daily work?
• Perform inventory & fixed asset process management and bookkeeping activities
• Carry out month, quarter, and year-end closing activities related to inventory & fixed asset processes
• Oversee and manage the costs involving the company’s inventory & fixed asset operations
• Prepare reports (external, internal) including inventory & fixed asset reports
• Record fixed asset acquisitions and dispositions in the accounting system
• Activation and reactivation of fixed assets
• Perform asset, property valuation activities and the scrap bookkeeping process
• Calculate and run depreciation for all fixed assets
• Perform and document fixed asset transfer and sale, as well as monthly closing activities
• Track company expenditures for fixed assets in comparison to the budget and management expectations
• Monitor inventory transactions and perform inventory reconciliation activities
• Develop inventory analysis reports and analyze variances (e.g., stock, and fair value reconciliation)
• Ensure and review the completeness and accuracy of inventory
• Support the key Accounting related projects (e.g., Axiom, Finance Transformation)
• Aid continuous improvement projects
We think that to be successful in this position you need:
• Degree in accounting, finance, or another business-related field with at least 3+ years of inventory and fixed asset accounting experience
• Advanced accounting knowledge (accounting fundamentals and standards, P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
• Inventory, fixed asset bookkeeping and process management experience
• Knowledge of inventory and fixed asset related record keeping methods and accounting monthly closure process
• Comprehensive asset management module knowledge including understanding all aspects of reconciliation and reporting from the asset management module
• Sufficient Microsoft Office skills (e.g. excel, ppt, word and other digital work tools)
• Experience using reporting platforms (e.g. Cognos, Axiom, Atlas)
• Demonstrated strong verbal and written communications skills in English and in the local language
• Responsibility for ensuring that all phases of an asset’s life cycle, from pre-acquisition through retirement, are properly documented and maintained
