From 1998 started with a few dozen employees and over the years Budapesr RnD grew to provide jobs for over 2000 people. 1200 engineers work in research and development and on the Budapest site products are being developed which are irreplaceable for the development and operation of latest telecommunication networks like 5G. Our main clients are telecommunication providers and multinational corporations which conduct their business in different market segments.
What you will learn and contribute to
Operating System SW engineer position
Own the Operating System of different Nokia core network and radio products
Be responsible for the Op.System of different Nokia mobile core network and radio products
For senior position: Be responsible for SW Architecture
For senior position: Write feasibility studies and feature implementation plans
Improve product/code quality
SW Coding and Testing
Develop Features and Fix SW faults
Provide Customer support
Your skills and experience

Fast learning skills
Strong interest and dedication towards low level software development
Solid practical knowledge of the C programming language
Ability to work alone and autonomously
Ability to work well in a Team with international peers
BSc in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science / Engineering or related fields
Fluent English, both in spoken and written form
Good hands-on with Linux OS based systems and KVM virtualization
It would be nice if you also had:
Experience in Linux development and C language
Experience in SW building tools (make/ninja/meson)
Experience in source code control tools like SVN, GIT
Knowledge of the theory of micro-service technologies
Knowledge of SW development methodologies (Agile/Scrum)
Experience in Collaboration tools like Jira, Confluence, SharePoint
