What you will do
Develop and execute Harman 4PL Logistics strategy and operations in alignment with senior leadership, manufacturing strategy and supply chain teams.
Optimize inbound transportation network and related cost to drive to a best in class, agile, resilient network.
Daily operational management of Harman’s global 4PL partner
Actively drive initiatives for cost savings and quality improvements in the logistics network
Build and maintain close working relationship with internal- and external stakeholders to optimize Harman’s Logistics network
Establish and report global KPIs, share best-in-class practices, and identify synergies across business units
Drive data analytics in Harman Global Logistics
Drive data quality, integrity, and visualization projects
Manage 4PL budget and spend
4PL and TMS market analytics
Be an agent of positive change: Improve internal / external customer satisfaction by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes; establishing and communicating service metrics; monitoring and analyzing results.
What you need
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Operations or another related field, or equivalent experience in distribution, warehousing, logistics and/or operations management
Minimum of 7 years of related experience in Inventory and Logistics with a preference in automotive / electronics distribution, delivery, and warehousing. Experience managing a 4PL partner is a plus
Proven ability to manage global Logistics Service Providers
Data oriented mindset and strong analytical skills required
Drive for continuous improvement and Lean mindset
Ability to influence through effective verbal and written communication skills
Strong Project Management skills
Excellent verbal/written communication skills
Possess a can-do attitude and an owner mindset
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
Must possess excellent computer skills (Microsoft office applications).
Knowledge of SAP is required
